Airman 1st Class Markery Flerisma, a C-17 Globemaster III loadmaster assigned to the 15th Airlift Squadron at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., conducts pre-flight preparations before a deployment swap to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Oct. 28, 2020. The aircrew conducted a deployment swap between the 15th Airlift Squadron, who were deploying, and the 16th Airlift Squadron, who were returning home after a 90-day deployment. Both C-17 Gobemaster III squadrons are both assigned to the 437th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Charleston.
