A C-17 Globemaster III aircraft staged for takeoff at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Oct. 29, 2020. A 15th Airlift Squadron aircrew used the jet to conduct a deployment swap to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The aircrew conducted a deployment swap between the 15th Airlift Squadron, who were deploying, and the 16th Airlift Squadron, who were returning home after a 90-day deployment. Both C-17 Gobemaster III squadrons are both assigned to the 437th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Charleston.
