KINGS BAY, Ga. (Nov. 2, 2020) Deputy Commander, U.S. Strategic Command, (USSTRATCOM) Lt. Gen. Thomas Bussiere presents the Omaha Trophy to Cmdr. Adam Thomas (left) commanding officer of the Gold crew and Cmdr. Bill Dull (right) commanding officer of the Blue Crew of the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Alaska (SSBN 732) during a ceremony held onboard Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. The Omaha Trophy is awarded annually to USSTRATCOM units who demonstrate the highest standards of performance in the command’s mission areas, their role in global operations and the command’s continued emphasis on strategic deterrence.
