KINGS BAY, Ga. (Nov. 2, 2020) Deputy Commander, U.S. Strategic Command, Lt. Gen. Thomas Bussiere is briefed on capabilities in the missile control center aboard the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Alaska (SSBN 732) (Blue) while visiting Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. Alaska is one of six ballistic-missile submarines stationed at the base, providing the most survivable leg of the strategic deterrence triad for the United States.
