Brittany Webb-Martin, from Cape Coral, Fla., assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97), fires an M9 during a low-light gun shoot on the flightdeck. The U.S. Navy’s forward-deployed naval forces operate around the clock, including watchstations that are manned 24 hours a day to provide regional presence in support of stability and security.
