YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 20, 2020) Operations Specialist 2nd Class Gerardo Ballesteros, a native of Brooklyn, New York, recently checked on board Commander, Submarine Group 7 from USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). This will be Ballesteros’ second time in Yokosuka. This time around, he hopes to do more exploring and traveling around the country, start school for Radiology and get involved in command activities, such as the Second Class Petty Officer Association.
