Soldiers from 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division receive their silver spurs during the 5th Squadron 4th Cavalry Regiment Spur Ride on July 29 - 30. The Spur Ride is an event that is usually held over multiple days during which a Trooper must pass a series of physical and psychological tests that evaluate leadership, technical and tactical proficiency, and the ability to operate, during day and night conditions, as part of a team under high levels of fatigue and stress.
