U.S. Marine Corps Gen. David H. Berger, the 38th Commandant of the Marine Corps, discourses to the attendants of the Commandants Combined Commandership Course at Quantico, VA., Oct. 19, 2020. The Commandant of the Marine Corps in 1992 established a resident commanders program for board selected and slated Colonels and Lieutenant Colonels to help prepare slated commanders and their Sergeants Major for their new role.
