Hope Boxes containing vegetarian, shelf-stable meals and water filtration kits await preparation for military airlift in the cargo warehouse at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on Oct. 17, 2020. The 87th Aerial Port Squadron processed the shipment which totaled about 100,000 pounds destined for Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In the past, the 87th APS has processed blankets, cots and firetrucks as part of the Denton program, which ships humanitarian supplies to nations in need, at no added cost to the DoD. The supplies are transported via military airlift on a space-available basis.
