The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Venturous (WMEC-625) transfers custody of four suspected smugglers and $6.8 million dollars of seized cocaine to federal law enforcement authorities in San San Juan, Puerto Rico Oct. 15, 2020. The bust occurred during the evening hours of Oct. 5 and early morning hours of Oct.6, 2020, when the Coast Guard Cutter Heriberto Hernandez (WPC-1114) interdicted a drug smuggling go-fast vessel that was transporting the seized contraband and the suspected smugglers; two Venezuelan, a Colombian and a Dominican Republic national in the Caribbean Sea near the Dominican Republic.
