U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Nick Martino, a combat engineer with Marine Wing Support Squadron 271, Marine Air Group 14, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, participating in Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 1-21, takes part in a forward arming and refueling point at Auxiliary Airfield II, in Yuma, Arizona, Oct. 12, 2020. The WTI course is a seven-week training event hosted by MAWTS-1, providing standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine aviation training and readiness, and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
