U.S. Army Master Sgt. Jesse Putnam, culinary specialist with Headquarters Support Company, 628th Aviation Support Battalion, 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade poses for a photo in front of a humvee in the 28th ECAB's area of operations in the Middle East. She plans on retiring after two more years so this will most likely be her last deployment. At home, she works as the director of veterans affairs in Lawrence County. After deployment, she plans to complete her Master's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling.
