Two servicemembers with Combat Logistics Battalion 8, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, who were acting as enemy combatants, wait in the tree line for troops to pass by during a field training exercise aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 1, 2012. The role players’ responsibility was to simulate an attack on their fellow troops. The week-long exercise is part of the battalion’s pre-deployment training designed to prepare the troops for Afghanistan.
