U.S. Marines Corps Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear defense specialists with 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, 3rd Marine Division, and 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG), secure simulated contaminant properly during an Enhanced Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (ECBRN) course on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 6, 2020. Marines participating in the ECBRN course were evaluated on their ability to conduct Small Site Exploration while wearing Hazardous Material suits, attending to casualties, and collecting samples for laboratory testing. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
