U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. David Flores III, a Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear defense specialist with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), assesses a notional casualty during an Enhanced Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (ECBRN) course on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 6, 2020. Flores, a Corpus Christi, Texas native, graduated from Richard King High School in 2017, and was recruited out of Recruiting Station Corpus Christi in 2017. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
