Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Miguel Sanchez, from Douglas, Ga., fires a messenger line from the foc’s’le aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) to the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10) during a replenishment-at-sea. McCain is assigned to Destroyer Squadron Fifteen (DESRON 15), the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
