St. Paul District Commander Col. Karl Jansen visited the temporary power generator service base Oct. 1, 2020, and meet the team that’s responsible for ensuring generators get installed, serviced and de-installed in the southwest Louisiana communities hit by Hurricane Laura. Since the first one was installed Aug. 30, 2020, 90 temporary generators have been installed at fire stations, water plants, water treatment plants other critical public infrastructure sites. Through Oct. 1, 2020, 70 generators have been de-installed.
