PHILIPPINE SEA (Sept. 27, 2020) U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) wait for an MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Reinforced) to take off aboard amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6). America, flagship of Expeditionary Strike Group Seven (ESG 7), along with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
