PHILIPPINE SEA (Sept. 27, 2020) U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) guide Maj. Scott Wood and Capt. Tyler Harden, U.S. Marine pilots with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 262 (Reinforced), as they land an MV-22B Osprey on America’s flight deck following a fire support team exercise. America, flagship of Expeditionary Strike Group Seven (ESG 7), along with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
