At the conclusion of U.S. Naval Forces Europe Band’s rehearsal for their show segment of the Royal Edinburgh Military, Tattoo Musician 3rd Class Margaret Pedlow is reenlisted by NAVEUR Band director Lt. David Latour in front of U.S. and Norwegian musicians. Pedlow said this reenlistment will forever stay with her, as someone with Scottish heritage it truly meant a great deal to reenlist in front of Edinburgh’s historic castle and with family members in the audience to observe. This military tattoo brings together musicians, dancers and bagpipers from around the world to perform in Europe’s most prestigious military tattoo and this year marks the first time since 1950 that a Navy band has performed in the show.
