Seaman Recruit Lashanda Gill poses with her design of the division flag of recruit division 418 inside the USS Arizona recruit barracks at Recruit Training Command. Gill says the design the is inspired by the Greek goddess Athena and the head piece represents the flight of a cardinal, the divisions sponsor. The St. Louis Cardinals have sponsored a recruit division for 62 consecutive years and division 418 is the first all-female division to be sponsored.
