Kosovo Force Regional-Command East Aviation Sgt. Eric Weatherford, flight paramedic with Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion 135th General Support Aviation Regiment, Tennessee National Guard, performs initial medical evacuation training procedures with the KFOR Italian Contingent Sep. 28, 2020 at Camp Villagio, Kosovo. KFOR RC-E Medical AVN hosted the training to teach Soldiers how to safely load patients onto a helicopter during active operations ensuring rapid treatment and movement of injured personnel. KFOR NATO elements continuously conduct joint cross-training to maintain a high level of readiness to ensure the accomplishment of the KFOR mission of a safe and secure environment for all people in Kosovo.
