Texas Army National Guard soldiers assigned to the 197th Special Troops Support Company, Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis, Texas, prepare for airborne operations training Sept. 25, 2020, at JBSA-Lackland, Kelly Field on Port San Antonio, Texas. Soldiers loaded onto a C-130J Super Hercules, from the 317th Airlift Wing, Dyess AFB, Texas to complete static line jump training onto a drop zone at JBSA-Camp Bullis. Soldiers assigned to airborne units must complete a parachute jump every three months to maintain their airborne status.
