Texas Army National Gaurd 100th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment Sgt. 1st Class Melisa Washington attends the opening of a new playground Sept. 18, 2020, at a school in Lebane, Kosovo. Washington, a member of the Kosovo Force Regional Command East’s public affairs office, was accompanied by KFOR’s civil-military cooperation personnel who are responsible for promoting positive relationships between Kosovo communities and KFOR. Constructing new playgrounds is one of many ways in which KFOR ensures a safe and secure environment for all the people in Kosovo.
