The 462nd Movement Control Battalion and its subordinate units executed an integrated, collective training event in late July and early August 2020. The month long event delivered dynamic training while successfully mitigating COVID-19. The unit’s operations section developed and implemented a movement control system connecting five locations spread across a 200-mile wide operation area in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The battalion also provided mission command for three subordinate units that collectively accomplished key readiness tasks, a simulated bulk fuel storage facility, laundry support operations, pre-deployment training, and a variety of individual and low-density MOS training.
