ERDC researchers participate in U.S. Army Foreign Technology (and Science) Assessment Support program

The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s (ERDC) Streamflow Prediction Tool (SPT) uses authoritative weather forecasts from the U.S. Air Force to enhance hydrological prediction. ERDC researchers collaborated with the U.K. Meteorological Office in a project funded by the U.S. Army Foreign Technology (and Science) Assessment Support program to add UK Joint U.K. Land Environment Simulator (JUKES) and NASA Land Information System (LIS) modeling data to the ERDC-SPT. The results were used to simulate Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam filling scenarios
