200912-N-FA490-1094 EAST CHINA SEA (Sept. 12, 2020) Electrician’s Mate 1st Class Julian Charito II, from Laoag City, Philippines, assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97), replaces a Recovery Assist, Securing and Traverse System (RAST) cable in the hangar bay. Halsey is underway conducting operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
