U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Taylor Smith-Cruz, an installation entry controller assigned to the 673rd Security Forces Squadron guards an F-22 Raptor assigned to the 302 Fighter Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, during exercise Valiant Shield at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Sept. 24, 2020. Valiant Shield is a U.S.-only, biennial field training exercise (FTX) with a focus on integration of joint training among U.S. forces in relation to current operational plans.
