    Petty Officer 3rd Class Nick F. Spanlopis performs grinding work in the pilothouse aboard amphibious command ship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Blue Ridge is in port for a Ship's Restricted Availability. During SRA the ship will go through multiple scheduled maintenance projects performed by a combination of Blue Ridge crew, and ship repair facility personnel. Blue Ridge is forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, and serves as the flagship for Commander U.S. 7th Fleet.
