Members of the 178th Civil Engineering Squadron Search and Rescue Team extract a casualty via stretcher as part of a training exercise August 2, 2020 at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Butlerville, Indiana. The night exercise presented a variety of challenges for the teams, to include breaching in several different areas through a range of materials. Compounded with the darkness and humidity, it created realistic scenarios with convincing challenges to more effectively train the wing’s search and rescue teams.
