Airmen assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, inspect a specialized medical container designed to transport individuals with infectious diseases. The Negatively Pressurized Conex, or NPC, is configured for the C-17 Globemaster III and C-5 Super Galaxy aircraft to safely transport up to 28 passengers or 23 patients, including ambulatory and litter, around the globe.
