U.S. Air Force Joint Terminal Attack Controllers, assigned to the 321st Special Tactics Squadron, stationed with the 352nd Special Operations Wing, RAF Mildenhall, U.K., and German air force JTACs debrief at the end of their training on close air support during exercise Ample Strike 20 at Boletice Military Training Area, Czech Republic, Sept. 15, 2020. During the training U.S. and German JTAC’s called in airstrikes from a Czech air force L-159 ALCA and a Czech air force Mi-24 attack helicopter that struck simulated buildings. Building a ready and capable partnership in the Czech Republic, allows United States Special Operations Forces to set conditions for larger combined, joint operations.
