SANTA RITA, Guam (Sept. 22, 2020) Electronics Technician (Navigation) 2nd Class Robert White, a native of St. Petersburg, Florida, serves aboard the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Key West (SSN 722). White enjoys his job in the silent service because of the family it creates. ”I love the submarine force because of the people you get to meet,” said White. “I’ve grown really close to many people I’ve met onboard. Eventually you learn who everyone is and you can relate very easily. A lot of people call the submarine force a family.” (U.S. Navy illustration by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Jordyn Diomede)
