Lieutenant Col. Ned M. Biehl (left,) commanding officer, Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, helps Staff Sgt. Justin R. Schissel, an AV-8B harrier mechanic with the unit, during a foreign object and debris walk prior to the day’s flight operations during Composite Training Unit Exercise, July 26. Foreign object and debris walks are performed daily before any flight operations are conducted to ensure there are no loose gravel or debris that could get caught in the engines of the aircraft. The COMPTUEX provides the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group and 15th MEU with realistic training for their upcoming deployment this fall. Schissel, 33, is from Garnavillo, Iowa.
