    200826-N-NH257-1004 ARABIAN SEA (August 26, 2020) Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class Arath Hurtado, from Chandler, Ariz., uses optimize organizational maintenance activity (OOMA) prior to a M61 Vulcan Gatling gun installation on an F/A-18E, from the "Kestrels" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA-137), in the hangar bay aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz, the flagship of Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three critical chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
