Congratulations to Tech. Sgt. Hernani Medina, 374th Maintenance Group quality assurance inspector, on being the Airlifter of the Week!
TSgt Medina brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team and is constantly training new airmen. His attention to detail identified multiple processes in two work centers that were not conforming to current regulations. His diligent actions and feedback allowed units to correct their programs, ensuring the MXG provides safe and compliant aircraft maintenance.
As a quality assurance inspector, he performs inspections on the flight line and back shop maintenance. The findings from his inspections are used to highlight any negative trends and assist in the solution. In addition to inspections, he inputs technical assistance request from engineers and completes preliminary investigation for incidents and mishaps within the MXG.
