U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Elijah Soper, a network administrator with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, fires an M4 Carbine during a joint service range in Zambrano, Honduras, Aug. 26, 2020. The U.S. Marines train with M4s alongside U.S. Army Soldiers to increase their proficiency with the weapons, while refreshing their knowledge of weapons safety procedures. A group of approximately 20 Marines from the SPMAGTF-SC has joined with Joint Task Force - Bravo in Soto Cano Air Base in support of operations and exercises in the Latin American and Caribbean region. The remainder of the task force is prepared to deploy to the region to work alongside partner nation militaries, enhancing combined crisis response efforts in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
