200828-N-HH853-1138 SILVERDALE, Wash. (Aug. 28, 2020) Steelworker 3rd Class Dylan Arambula, from San Antonio, Texas, assigned to Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Northwest runs an edging towel along to board to separate the concrete and to create a finished edge. These joints allow the concrete to expand and contract, also to help eliminate cracking. The new ADA approved sidewalk from the rear parking lot of the Naval Base Kitsap- Bangor Litehouse School-Age Care Center brings the building back into compliance.
