U.S. Army Spcs. Henry Villareal and Ryan Dunken of the California National Guard’s 132nd Multi-Role Bridge Company, remove obstacles from the Cache Creek River in Yolo County, California, Aug. 23, 2020, prior to their unit’s construction of a 100-foot temporary floating bridge. Cal Guard responded to California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) request to build a structure adjacent to the Cache Creek Canyon Low Water Bridge so emergency vehicles can get to the ongoing LNU Lightning Complex Fire that has destroyed 330,000 acres in five Northern California counties in less than a week.
