Two Dominican physicians review the roster of patients scheduled for surgery on a computer, while a Domincam mother and son wait to receive information July 25 at the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Dominican physicians, including medical interns and medical residents, worked side by side with U.S. military doctors and ophthalmologists July 10-27 during a medical readiness and training exercise planned by the U.S. Army Medical Command and U.S. Army South.
