Nelson Negron, 87th Civil Engineering Group Fire Department assistant chief of training instructs Private 1st Class Maximino Perez on the protocols of navigating the confined space obstacle trainer during training Aug. 13, 2020 on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. Airmen from the 87th CEG Fire Department Station #1 conducted training for Soldiers from the U.S. Army Reserve 369th Engineer Detachment Firefighting Platoon. This training was aimed at teaching firefighters confined space rescue and evacuation techniques before deployment and refresh their tactics and skill set.
