Participants in the Joint Forces Experiment use an experimental method of communicating between different groups of first responders to test information-exchange requirements July 18, 2012, at Langley Air Force Base, Va. The study implemented active-shooter and mass-casualty scenarios to test communication between security forces, medical personnel and fire fighters.
