Shockley, a canvassing recruiter with Recruiting Substation Panama City, Recruiting Station Montgomery, helps young men and women join the Marine Corps at the same recruiting station he enlisted out of at Panama City, Fla., Aug. 14, 2020. Shockley graduated from J. R. Arnold High School in 2012 and after 8 years of servicer he returned to guide the next generation of Marines. RS Montgomery is responsible for finding and preparing young men and women for the rigors of recruit training aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina.
