A U.S. Air Force pararescueman from the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron applies simulated wounds to Senior Airman Tisha Tanks prior to conducting a personnel recovery exercise July 18, 2012, in the Grand Bara Desert, Djibouti. The simulated casualties allowed the pararescuemen to practice insertion, emergency medical, and extraction procedures during a joint training exercise in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
