Marines, sailors, families and friends await the arrival of their loved ones during a beach day aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 19, 2012. During the event, Marines and sailors with 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group took a day off from work and enjoyed fun at the beach. However, before the festivities began the battalion’s Marines and sailors were put to the test during an eight-mile hike, which started at the unit’s headquarters and ended at the beach.
