Gunnery Sgt. The 19th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Troy E. Black, hosted the ceremony, and Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Ramón “CZ” Colón-López was the guest of honor. Barracks’ SNCOs fulfilled key leader’s billets throughout the ceremony that are normally performed by other Marines from throughout the battalion.
