PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 6, 2020) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (handling) 3rd Class Steven Weaver, from Green River, Wyo., assigned to the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) signals an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter from the Archangels of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Two-Five (HSC-25) Detachment Six. America, flagship of America Expeditionary Strike Group, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to maintain security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
