Marines conduct a Search and Rescue (SAR) exercise in the Broad River, S.C. July 23. Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort units worked side by side with the Savannah Coast Guard and the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office to conduct the exercise. The training consisted of one F-35B pilot and two F/A-18 pilots. It not only increased mission readiness for each unit involved, but also increased interoperability between military and civilian first responders. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
