Lance Cpl. Donnell A. Brown, a supply administration and operations specialist with 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, holds the battalion’s guidon after completing an eight-mile hike to Onslow Beach aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 19, 2012. More than 300 troops marched for approximately four hours during the battalion’s monthly physical training session, which is meant to increase the unit’s combat readiness and cohesion. At the end of the hike the troops had the opportunity to spend time with their family members and friends to enjoy a unit sponsored family day.
