Marines and sailors with 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group hike alongside Sneads Ferry Road aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 19, 2012. More than 300 troops marched for approximately four hours during the battalion’s monthly physical training session, which is meant to increase the unit’s combat readiness and cohesion. The troops covered nearly eight miles from French Creek to Onslow Beach, where they met with their family members and friends to enjoy a unit sponsored family day.
